It is our policy at Eco Trading to ensure that our customers are treated in the way we would like to be treated ourselves. We hope that you will be delighted and satisfied with your purchases, but would advise that you take some time to read the following Terms and Conditions in order to fully enhance your customer experience.

SALES

•    Eco Trading makes every conceivable effort to deliver goods of the highest quality and as quickly as possible. On rare occasion, there may be circumstances in which we are unable to meet our designated delivery times. In those cases we will advise you immediately and you will be given the opportunity to choose an alternative product, wait until your desired product becomes available, or cancel your order.

•    You will receive order confirmation by email within 24 hours of your order being placed. This includes your order number, our contact details and a full list of the products that you have ordered together with the cost.

•    Eco Trading does not accept cheques at the time of writing.

•    All item deliveries are subject to receipt of payment or credit card transaction.

•    Eco Trading will normally process your goods within 10 working days of receipt of payment. You will be notified if there is any extension required to your delivery time.

•    Eco Trading accepts no responsibility for the provision of incorrect payment details. Please ensure you enter all information relating to payments correctly.

•    All prices are shown in UK Pound Sterling (£).

•    Please note that from time to time, the product received may differ slightly from that advertised. You will be informed in cases where these differences incur significant material change to the product.

•    All credit/debit card transactions with Eco Trading are processed through Google Checkout.

•     Eco Trading accepts no liability for personal injury death, or other loss resulting from deliberate misuse of our products. Where made available, all instructions must be carried out in full. Please contact us if you have an enquiry about any of our products.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING

•    Eco Trading ships within the UK only.

•    The Eco-friendly ethos at Eco Trading is reflected in our packaging – your goods will be packaged in recycled and fully biodegradable material wherever possible.

•    In cases where your items are too large to fit through a standard letterbox, we will use a signed-for delivery service. Please ensure you are able to sign for such items when they arrive.

•    Shipping and handling costs are processed according to weight. The majority of our items are processed using Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. Heavier items, such as bikes, will be processed with DHL.

•    Delivery charges range from £2.45 for our lighter products, with a maximum charge of £40.00 for the heaviest products. All shipping charges are made clear during the transaction process.

RETURNS

Eco Trading hopes that you will be 110% satisfied with your items. In the unlikely event that our products fail to meet your expectations, however - you can always return them within 14 days of receipt for a replacement or refund. Please refer to the following terms concerning this process.

•    You are entitled to return your product under the following conditions of sale:

•    The goods are damaged or faulty.

•    The goods were ordered by mistake, or you have ordered the wrong goods

•    The goods received do not correspond in any way to those chosen during initial transaction

•    The goods MUST be returned with all packaging intact, and in perfect or otherwise resaleable condition.

•    We cannot accept the return of body care items for hygiene reasons, unless they are returned sealed and unused.

•    Our light bulbs are classed as consumables, and do not have a guarantee. We ask that you return any damaged energy saving light bulb so that we may safely dispose of them.

•    Under the Distance Selling Act, you may return the goods within 7 days and receive a refund - providing they meet the previous terms where applicable.

•    To process a return, simply complete the returns form on the flipside of the Despatch Note.

•    Ensure that any product you are returning is well packaged, as any damages incurred during the postal process must be claimed by you.

•    You are responsible for claiming any losses incurred through the postal system – please ensure you obtain the appropriate certificates, or send via recorded delivery.

•    You will be notified through e-mail when we have processed your request for return. If you are unable to correspond through e-mail, an alternative means of contact must be provided.

COMPLAINTS

Here at Eco Trading, customer satisfaction is of paramount importance. We want you to be happy with every aspect of our provided service and take complaints very seriously. Should you feel aggrieved by any part of the Eco Trading experience, please either give us a call or e-mail complaints@ecobeans.co.uk. Our fast and friendly service will work to resolve any problems you may have.

We always endeavour to respond to every customer complaint or enquiry as soon as is practically possible.

ECOBEANS®

We hope that you will enjoy using the EcoBeans® scheme and will feel both satisfied and rewarded by its many benefits. Please consult the following terms concerning their use:

•    Eco Trading reserves the right to remove any number of EcoBeans® from a customer account if we believe they have been obtained fraudulently, or without the outlined use of our Affiliated Companies.

•    Eco Trading reserves the right to remove EcoBeans® without prior notice.

•    Eco Trading reserves the right to give away EcoBeans® at any given time.

•    EcoBeans® credits can not - under any circumstances - be purchased, sold, or exchanged.

•    EcoBeans® credits are to be used solely for the purpose of discounting items and services at Eco Trading.

•    EcoBeans® must only be used by the account holder. They cannot be traded or exchanged to other accounts.

•    Your free 1,000 Beans upon registration are distributed at the sole discretion of Eco Trading. The use of multiple accounts to accrue further Beans is strictly prohibited.

•    EcoBeans® cannot be redeemed for cash nor sold or transferred for value.

•    EcoBeans® are earnt through transactions with our Affiliate Companies.

•    Affiliate Companies may change without notice.

•    Eco Trading can provide a list of Affiliate Companies at your request when changes are not visible on our site.

•    Affiliate Companies decide the conditions of EcoBeans® distribution.

•    Redeemed EcoBeans® cannot be used again, except when used on an item meeting the conditions of our Returns Policy.

•    EcoBeans® cannot be redeemed until they are added to your account. Eco Trading is not responsible for the delayed addition of Beans by any of our Affiliate Companies.

•    EcoBeans® have no expiry date, unless we suspect foul play or the customer account is deactivated for any other reason.

•    Discounts on items using EcoBeans® are subject to that item’s availability.

CONTENT AND DISCLAIMER

•    The information provided on the Eco Trading website is for reference/guidance purposes only. It is not intended as a substitute for professional advice or judgement.

•    Whilst all necessary steps will be taken as soon as is reasonably practical to maintain the continuity of the site, we accept no liability for suspension, interruption, temporary unavailability or fault occurring in the site, howsoever caused.
