What are Eco Beans, and how do i use them?

Eco Beans is an eco friendly and easy-to-use loyalty scheme through which you can gain access to considerable discounts off any of the myriad energy saving products in our Eco Store. They are used much like supermarket points – simply collect, save and spend.  The scheme also includes our range of items designed to help reduce co2 emissions, such as bikes and wind turbines.

Whenever you make a purchase with Eco Trading, you’ll be asked how many Beans you’d like to use as discount – you can use as little or as many as you like. The redeemed Beans will be deducted from your total amount located for easy reference in the top right hand corner of the site.

For each Eco Bean you acquire, whether free or purchased, you are entitled to 1p discount off any of our in-store items. Are there any other ways I can spend my Eco Beans?

If you’ve acquired Eco Beans from an affiliate company but none of the Eco items in our shop tickle your fancy, why not put the credit towards one of our rewarding carbon reducing ideas? Using the practical Carbon footprint Calculator provided by the government,you can work out your Carbon Footprint alongside the number of Eco Beans required to offset it. Our co2 reducing ideas also offer genuine proof of your involvement with the process– you can experience the reward of seeing and feeling the difference you have made to the environment today.

There’s a product I’d like to buy, but you're not selling it. Can I order products with Eco Trading?
Not at present - although we are constantly updating and expanding our product line. Keep checking back, and if there's enough demand for a particular product or service then we'll be sure to include it on the site at some stage.

How can i calculate the amount of Eco Beans needed to offset my Carbon Footprint?
Using the Government's Carbon Calculator, you can work out your total C02 emissions. It is estimated that a single tonne of Carbon Dioxide costs just six pounds to fully offset - the equivalent of 600 Eco Beans.
